REVAMPING AN IDENTITY - FASHION CAREERS COLLEGE
FCC is a small, privately owned career preparatory college. Their competitors are large corporate career preparation schools with much larger budgets. FCC organized and conducted their own focus groups of existing students to figure out what worked and didn't work in their current messaging. And not surprising, it was FCC's small, family feeling that set it apart from the larger institutions.

Hula Girl Design was selected from 3 San Diego agencies to redesign the their brand. Our first suggestion was a name change from Fashion Careers of California College to Fashion Careers College. The branding process included a new logo, identity & tag line. The multi-media campaign featuring bright, whimsical illustrations based on the tagline: Indulge your Imagination. Hula Girl designed everything from newspaper and magazine ads to mall signage, direct mail and television. Hula Girl also created new collateral and a college catalog ... revamping their whole image!
