Little Miss Sunshine was so much fun. As the movie starts, and every character is presented, you wonder if you can like any of them… every character is so flawed, except for Olive the 7 year old. Can they possibly have any redeeming qualities? However, there is one surprise after another and you end up falling in love with everyone. Each character is so real, so transparent and so willing to be themselves. The writing is brilliant, the acting is brilliant and the story is fresh. I recommend this highly. I recommend that you see it in a packed theatre, to experience belly laughing with the whole audience, making this a delightful way to spend a few hours and a few bucks! I can’t say as much for most summer releases… but this is a must see!
