Andy Smith is a very talented illustrator. His work combines illustration and typography to create images that combine humor, energy and optimism. Although the look is hand drawn, many of drawings are created digitally! Gee-zoo! Amazing!

Canyon of Dreams is “A lavishly illustrated insider’s look at 80 years of music and culture in Laurel Canyon. Eye-opening both visually and informationally, this is a book no music lover can be without!” We can’t wait to get ours! Oh my, my!

Natalie Perkins draws on walls, like I did as a child, only she gets paid to do so. She also “creates whimsical yet wistful pieces which incorporate finely detailed line work as well as hand drawn lettering and builds pictures out of intricate clumps of paisleys, drawn with a moderate-sized army of pens and pencils.” You must check out her website to see more!

So we are not the first blog to feature Katie Daisy, but how could we not! We love her playful style and bright colors. One of these prints would make any room sing! Or two, or three…

Oh, I know horizontal stripes are a no-no at my age… but these are ADORABLE!!!!! Cute, cute, cute! Gavin Evanston is a little boutique right outside of Chicago. You must check them out online!

If you are in need of a sweet treat that’s too pretty to eat, we have found it! Sucre is an amazing sweets shop that crafts the most beautiful candies and cakes. So pretty you may not want to eat these goodies…or maybe you will eat the whole box, it’s ok, we won’t judge.

“Suzanne opened Hollyhock to sell all the things she loved for the home, but couldn’t easily find in Los Angeles. That was over 20 years ago and since its opening Hollyhock has been an exclusive resource for designers and discerning shoppers.” Hmmm… this shop is in driving distance.

The Mercantile is full of pretty things for your home or to give as gifts! We simple adore these cute little bowls! If you are ever in Atlanta you must make the time to stop here. Just make sure to bring your credit card.
