Brooklyn based, Erin Mulvehill’s work explores human connections. Her aim is to preserve life’s beautiful moments. Mission definitely accomplished in her underwater series, which she has dedicated to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The series features images of what looks like girls trapped under ice, frozen in time. The photos are chilling and beyond hauntingly beautiful, almost like a beautifully shot horror film. What’s most surprising is that the photos, while incredibly real in appearance, were actually shot in a studio. Pretty amazing, we think!

Eco-fashion for tree-huggers and non-tree-huggers alike? We’re totally in on that! Maude & Tilda are taking an edgy, loud and playful approach to being green. We figure that it’s only a matter of time before we’re all required to bring reusable totes to the grocery store, so why have them make a statement? We certainly like what they have to say!

It seems particularly easy these days to fall into the technology trap of having an app to just about everything for you. Did you know that there’s an app to tell you when the best time is to duck out of a movie is? Seriously, we can’t make this up!
Paper’d, a new iPhone wallpaper app, launched by two devilishly clever gals, is not only free, but a total must-have for any design-minded iPhone owner. Wallpaper that is sometimes funny, sometimes inspirational and just generally don’t suck? Yes, please!

Whether we’re at the grocery store, the bank or out just tooling around, we are seeing birds everywhere. It seems like you can “put a bird on it” to sell just about anything. From office supplies, to housewares, to accessories, to art, and even DIY projects … is there anything you CAN’T put a bird on? We’ll have to wait and see how long this little birdy trend will last but it’s kinda hard not to love it at least a little bit with items as adorable as these.

The human body is a complicated thing and illustrator, Katie Scott, only makes it appear more so. Her work is so incredibly detailed and precise. It also has a vintage quality to it, which we really, really like.

Popham Design produces some of the most unique, vibrant, colorful tiles we have ever seen. Their designs, which can be used as wall or floor coverings, are Moroccan inspired and encourage creativity. Their website shows the whole process of what goes into making the tiles, which is just as brilliant as the tiles themselves. The only problem we’re having is deciding which room the tiles would look best in. Swoon!

Feathers are the topic! They are everywhere and in all sorts of beautiful colors. Fred Flare carries this great headband and necklace and Urban Outfitters has all sorts of earrings. I just love this red and the dream catcher necklace! I can’t wait till payday!

These recycled glasses are so much fun! The totally cool retro soda bottle glasses, the pitcher and blue fishy glass can be found at GreenGlass.com and the goblet from Crate and Barrel. Great on the patio this summer filled with cool refreshments? I can just see myself sipping a margarita…
