
Michelle Moode that is. In her own words “I make little things and draw lots of pictures. I write things sometimes. I collect typewriters. I drink a lot of Earl Grey tea.” We were fortunate enough to meet her Unique LA and bought some very cute things from her. Nancy picked 12 uniquely beautiful watercolor circles and Katie got a little hanging pile of scraps. We loved her booth and her stuff. So precious!

In Edward Burtynsky’s words “These images are meant as metaphors to the dilemma of our modern existence; they search for a dialogue between attraction and repulsion, seduction and fear. Our dependence on nature to provide the materials for our consumption and our concern for the health of our planet sets us into an uneasy contradiction. A seminal Pop Art figure, Ray Johnson has been called the most significant “unknown artist” of the post-war period, a “collagist extraordinaire” who influenced both the Pop artists and a generation of contemporary artists besides.
